2006 Stampede

Friday was a wonderful day of mine. In the morning, I went to see the parade with my friends. The performance was wonderful and I like it. However, i thought this year was not as lively as last year. The people did not have too much cordiality when the performanced people said "ya hoo". I felt so embarrassed for that situation. As a result , my friends and me decided to had lunch. Therefore, we went to a restaurant which style was spicy. Actually it was not very spicy for me. On Friday night, i went to stampede park with my friend and Gogo. We had a good time in there. When we got there , Gogo and me bought a bag of mini donuts and it was very delicious. After that we went to play some games. There were so many people in the park and everyone looks like very happy. I think the stampede park can bring us a new mood and when we play we can forget the vexation.. I recommend thay everybody should go there once and feel that different feeling.

How to Make Friends

Every one of us needs to have friends. However, making frineds is not easy. If we feel shy, we may hesitate to make the first move. It is also difficult at times to keep the friends we already have. The following points, in my opinion, seem to be essential to make more and better friends. First of all, be polite. Always greet people in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. For example, say please, thank you all the time. Secondly, be tolerant. Listen carefully when others are talking to you, whether it is interesting or not. Don't constantly interrupt or contradict other people. What is more, never hose your temper, even if your are offended. If you do feel offended, try to talk to your friend frankly and earnestly. Thirdly, be considerate. Be ready to help your classmates, roommates, even strangers you happen to run acorss. whenever they are in trouble. Making an extra cup of soup for a sick neighbor may seem like a little thing to do, but it will make your neighbor feel much better. Lastly, remember names. Concentrate when you are introduced to someone, and remember the person's name. They say that the sweetest music to a person's ears is the sound of his or her own name. If you can follow these suggestions, i am sure you will succeed in making many good friends.

Wishes

Everybody has his wishes, whether ambitious or modest, parents wish their children would grow up healthy and wise. Farmers wish to reap bumper harvests. Businessmen wish to make greater profits. One who had no wish would be a gone case, or at the end of his journey! Practically all people live on wished, in hopes of something.
if wishes were horses, beggars might ride. We cannot stay just wishing all the time. Without proper action, wishes will remain castles in the air.
Most of us strive to realize our wishes. Usually, those who persist in their efforts systematicallywill succeed sooner of later. These people are skillful in finding out how the wind blows. They readily adapt themselves to new situations and are smart at making decisions.
The realization of a sound wish not only is in the interestof the person who cherishes it but also is beneficial to many others. It is desirable for the more able to help the less able in realizing their wishes. And the realization of a common wish requires the common efforts of all concerned. In such a case, co-operation and mutual help are all the more necessary.
